AMO 1429 E.E.Canberra Mk-8

Canberra medium tactical bomber was designed and produced by English Electric ltd. in 1949. The first production aircraft made its maiden flight on 21th April 1950. At the height of the Korea War English government decided to speed up its bomber force rearmament, thereto Avro, Short and Handley Page ltd. were joined in addition to English Electric Plant. 1352 aircrafts of different modifications were produced in fourteen years of manufacture. They were used by the Air Forces of sixteen countries.
