In 1941-1943 bombers and fighters were painted RLM79a sand with green spots RLM80 on top, RLM78 azure blue or RLM65 light blue on the bottom. There was a two-colour variant of sandy brown RLM79b with RLM78. Sometimes RLM79a was painted with RLM79b spots. The identification stripes are yellow RLM04.
