Mig-29s from 23rd Baza Lotnictwa Taktycznego, on initiative of Polish Aviation Historical Foundation (Fundacja Historyczna Lotnictwa Polskiego), wear a series of special paintings of „”Warsaw Scythemen”” – portraits of historical Polish AF aces and commanders, together with an emblem of Kosciuszko Squadron at the back of the plane.
Pictured Mig-29 „”114″” was dedicated to S/Ldr Eugeniusz „”Dziubek”” Horbaczewski – pilot of 303rd Squadron of RAF and „”Skalski’s Circus””, Polish fighter ace with 16,5 confirmed and 1 probable air victories.
Contains the following colours (acrylic paints, water-based, optimised for use with brush):
HTK-B059 – Field Green – FS34095, current overall colour of Polish AF and Polish Army helicopters, including Mi-2, Mi-8/17, Mi-24, W-3 and SW-4 Puszczyk
HTK-B031 – Gunship Grey – FS36118, used on upper surfaces in modern camouflage schemes of Polish Mig-29s. Also overall colour of Polish C-130Es
HTK-B037 – Light Ghost Grey – FS36375, used on Polish Mig-29, F-16C/D, M-346 Master (Bielik) and Su-22M4 / UM3K. Also used for cockpits of F-16s
HTK-B047 – Soviet Cockpit Blue-Green – Used for instrument panels of all soviet-origin helicopters incl. Mi-2, Mi-8/17, Mi-24, but also Polish W-3 (before NVG-standard)
HTK-B054 – Grey – FS36270, used on upper surfaces in camouflage schemes of Polish Mig-29, F-16C/D, M-346 Master (Bielik) and Su-22 fleet
HTK-B089 – German Camouflage Grey – RAL7050 F9, current colour of cockpit interiors of Polish Mig-29s after overhaul by WZL-2 in Bydgoszcz, Poland
