Bf-109A was the first serial modification of the famous WWII fighter. It was constructed by Willy Messerschmitt at the Bayerische Flugzeugwerke AG in Augsburg. First flight of Me-109V-1 took place in 28.V.1935. Went into production in 1936. Produced 20(22) exemplars of Bf-109A. Most of them were sent to Spain in 1937.
